Two Great White Egrets were on the River Maigue at Croom (Sean Doyle). These are the 4th & 5th County records for the species.
A Siberian Chiffchaff and two Common Chiffchaffs were at Aughinish (John N Murphy).

At the tip of Loop Head between 09.00-11.00 there were four Great Shearwater, 34 Sooty Shearwater, ten Manx Shearwater, 350 Kittiwake, 12 Brent Goose, two Pomarine Skua and 12 Fulmar.(Geoff Pearson)
