During an extremely foggy and cold Dawn Chorus outing to the Burren six male and a female Cuckoo were heard along with four Whitethroat, two Blackcap and a Wheatear.
Over 2000 Manx Shearwater were streaming west at Ross Ringing Station this morning.(John N Murphy)

A pair of Garganey were at Westfields this morning (Andrew Holmes). This is the 2nd record for the site, the 1st being on 9/9/1973.
A Reed Warbler in song, four Gadwall, one pair and two singles, and three Pochard, one pair and one drake, were also present in the evening (TT).
