Single Buzzards was at Rossbrien (Derek Casey), Caherass (Frank Keohane) and Stoneville (Tom Tarpey & Gerry Murphy).

A 3cy Iceland Gull was at Bishop’s Quay (TT).
A Great Spotted Woodpecker was drumming at Ballyorgan (Tony Mee).
A Willow Warbler was in song at King’s Island. 42 Oystercatchers were also at the site(TT).

The adult Iceland Gull was on the Shannon at Bishop’s Quay in Limerick City (TT).
A Great Spotted Woodpecker was reported drumming at Ballyorgan (per Tony Mee).
A Blackcap was at Ballyorgan (TM).


Friday 29th March 2024

One Hawfinch was seen at the carpark at Curraghchase. A Great Spotted Woodpecker was also heard drumming nearby(Aidan Kelly).
A Willow Warbler was in song at Lough Gur. 30 Tufted Duck, 18 Wigeon and a Great Crested Grebe were also present.
