A Spotted Redshank, 16 Mediterranean Gull and over 200 Curlew were at Coraunroo.(Jeff Copner)
There were 54 White-fronted Geese at Lough Muckanagh.(JC)

The two White-tailed Eagles were at Lough Muckanagh again and at Termon Lough earlier.(Ray Glynn)


Sunday 19th February 2023

Two White-tailed Eagles were at Lough Muckanagh. These birds were released at the Shannon Estuary in 2021.(Ray Glynn)
Fifty White-fronted Geese were at Lough Muckanagh.(RG)
An adult White-tailed Eagle flew inland at Whitegate and was being mobbed by a Buzzard and crows.(James Organ)

Two Common Sandpipers were at Foynes Harbour (John N Murphy).
A Buzzard was at Clashganniff (Clodagh Glasgow).
140 Whooper Swans were at Cooperhill (TT).
Barn Owls were seen at two locations near Ballingarry (Andrew Holmes).

A Great Spotted Woodpecker was drumming in Curraghchase (Fergus Flood).
The sub-adult Iceland Gull was at Harvey’s Quay (TT).
