Meet at the Pier, Ballyvaughan opposite Monk’s Pub at 11a.m. Bring binoculars if you have them. Warm clothing, food and a hot drink add to the enjoyment of the occasion. Find out more »A trip to Fanore and the Caher Valley where we will scan the sea off Fanore, walk the sand dunes in search of returning migrants and later stroll along the Caher Valley looking for Dipper, Blackcap, Raven, Linnet etc. Meet at the car-park at Fanore Beach at 11a.m. Bring binoculars if you have them. A little food for a picnic adds to the enjoyment of the event if you wish to bring some with you.

We hope to hear and see Common Sandpiper, Cuckoo, Wheatear, Blackcap, Whitethroat, Yellowhammer along with more common birds such as Meadow Pipit, Stonechat and Willow Warbler. Meet at the Grotto Corofin at 5a.m. Bring a flask and some food for breakfast if you wish. This will be a gentle stroll through various parts of the Burren. No dogs allowed for obvious reasons.
