Black-headed Gull Ring 291F This juvenile was also at Clahane and also found by Dave McNamara, we are still awaiting information back on it but I suspect it also came from Galway.
Black-headed Gull Ring 274F
This bird was found at Clahane beach on 9th August by Dave McNamara and had been ringed earlier this year by Eoin McGreal on 30th May at a colony in Lough Corrib, Galway.
Black-headed Gull Ring 279B This bird was found at Clahane by Dave McNamara on 4th August 2009 and had been ringed by Eoin McGreal at Lough Corrib in 2008.
Black-headed Gull Ring 212D This bird was found by Dave Mcnamara at Clahane, Liscannor on 17th July 2009 and had been ringed on the nest at Lough Mask on by Eion McGreal on 12th June 2008.
Black-headed Gull Ring W2P89 This bird was ringed on 29th June 2008 at Cleveland Farm Wiltshire, England by John Wells and the Cotswold Water Park Ringing Group. It was re-sighted at Clahane, Liscannor on the 15th March by Dave McNamara who took this photo. One week earlier on Monday 9th March the same bird was seen at the Post Office field in Ennis by John Murphy and John Rattigan, so he moved out to the coast when the winds eased and it got milder.
Black-headed Gull Ring Y230P This individual turned up the Claureen River atenuation pond on the outskirts of Ennis on 6th October 2008. It was ringed at an un-named Island on Lough Corrib, County Mayo in June of 2007. Later winter the early part of the winter of 2007 it was seen in Northern Spain where it remained into early 2008.
