Seven Whimbrel, seven Pochard, a Gadwall, a Wigeon, a Great Crested Grebe and 85 Sand martins were at Coonagh this evening (TT).

A Grasshopper Warbler, two Wigeon, ten Gadwall and nine Pochard were at Coonagh (James Organ).


Wednesday 20th April 2022

Five House Martins were at Baggotstown (Tom Tarpey).
Buzzards were seen at Rockbarton, Kilballyowen and Ballynagallagh (TT).


Monday 18th April 2022

A Reed Warbler, three Sedge Warblers, four Willow Warblers, 65 Sand Martins, two Swallows and six Gadwall were at Coonagh (Tom Tarpey).

An adult Yellow-legged Gull, two Whimbrel and six Sandwich Terns were at Glin (John N Murphy).
A Whitethroat and two Buzzards were at Ballinlee, Bruff (Tom Tarpey).


Tuesday 12th April 2022

A House Martin was at Newcastle West (Geoff Hunt).
A Buzzard was at Ballincurra, Bruff (TT).
Swallows were seen at multiple locations around the County today representing the first significant influx of the spring.
