A 1st winter Yellow-legged Gull was at O’Callaghan’s Strand (JNM & FMcG).

The Waxwing taken into care at Animal Magic, Kilmallock, was found on a road at Westbury, Parteen (Denis McCarthy).

Seven Whooper Swans were at Fanningstown, Fedamore (Andrew Holmes).

Buzzards were seen at Raheen and Plassey (Clodagh Glasgow).

Friday 3rd January 2020

Five Brambling were at Curraghchase (Sean Pierce).
21 Little Egrets were at Grange Bridge (TT).
A Buzzard was at Banemore (TT).

A Buzzard was at Ballingarry (Andrew Holmes).

Monday 30th December 2019

Two Hawfinches, two Brambling, a Chiffchaff, 250 Chaffinches and three Buzzards were at Curraghchase Forest Park (TT).
A Green Sandpiper, three Greenshank, five Redshank and five Little Egrets were on the Maigue Estuary at Adare (TT).

Sunday 29th December 2019

42 Whooper Swans, 227 Wigeon, 70 Teal, 40 Shoveler, 26 Gadwall, 42 Tufted Duck, two Buzzards and a Peregrine Falcon were at Lough Gur (Tony Mee).
51 Tufted Duck. a Pochard and a Blackcap were at Westfields (Niall Keogh).
20 Little Egrets were at Grange Bridge (Andrew Holmes).

Saturday 28th Decemnber 2019

Two Hawfinches were at Curraghchase (Ian O’Connor).

Friday 27th December 2019

50 Tufted Duck, a Pochard, seven Mallard and two Blackcaps were seen at Westfields during the annual Limerick Branch Christmas outing. A Redshank was also seen at Clancy’s Strand along with 25 Oystercatchers at King’s Island (Maura Turner, TT et al.)
