A Green Sandpiper was at Mountcollins (Andrew Holmes).

Five Little Egrets were at Newbridge (John N Murphy)
Two Buzzards were at Curraghchase (JNM) and single birds were at Bleach Lough (JNM) and Garranroe (TT).


Monday 28th October 2019

Two Whooper Swans, 57 Gadwall, ten Shoveler, two Mallard, 39 Tufted Duck, four Pochard, 104 Coot, 26 Little Grebes and four Snipe were at Coonagh (TT).


Monday 21st October 2019

A Hawfinch was seen at Curraghchase (per Irish Birding (Gavin Fennessey)). A bumper Hornbeam seed crop this year should increase the prospects for more Hawfinch sightings there.


Sunday 20th October 2019

A 4cy White-tailed Eagle, Blue/Orange 6, was seen in the County (James McGrath). This Beara bird has been seen in a number of locations in Limerick and Clare in the past year.
Two Buzzards were at Ballyorgan (Tony Mee).
A Dipper was at Croom (TM).

Three Redwings were seen at Ballysheedy (Cliff Baxter).


Saturday 12th October 2019

Four Crossbills were at the Ballyhoura Mts.(James McGrath).


Wednesday 9th October 2019

Six Swallows and three Buzzards were at Newcastle West (Cliff Baxter).
Seven Curlew were at the Coonagh roundabout(CB).


Sunday 6th October 2019

A Buzzard was at Crecora (Fergus Flood).
