At the Bridges of Ros this evening (17.45-19.15) there was one Scopoli’s Shearwater, 94 Cory’s Shearwater, 12 Sooty Shearwater, 3,618 Manx Shearwaters, one European Storm Petrel, 191 Fulmars, 31 Oystercatcher, one Turnstone and one Common Sandpiper. (Peter Phillips)
A seawatch at Ross Ringing Station between (17.00-18.30) produced 19 Cory’s Shearwater, one Sooty Shearwater, one adult Great Skua, one dark phased Arctic Skua, 53 Oystercatcher and 5 Sandwich Tern.(John N Murphy)
One Wheatear was in the field at Ross Ringing Station along with one Turnstone and 76 Rick Doves.(JNM)
