There were 264 Great Shearwaters, eight Cory’s Shearwaters, one Balearic Shearwater, 75 Sooty Shearwaters, four Leaches Petrels, six Storm Petrels, two Sabine’s Gulls, eight Arctic Skuas, 7 Bonxies, 26 Brent Geese, 28 Common Scoters, 33 Arctic Terns, one Common Tern, 117 Sandwich Terns, one Red-throated Diver, two Curlew, a Dunlin, a Redshank and a Wheatear at the Bridges of Ross between 7.15 and 12.15 (Henrik Bohmer et al, Tom Tarpey).
There were 104 Cory’s Shearwaters, two Great Shearwaters, two Balearic Shearwaters, two Sooty Shearwaters, 13 Brent Geese, seven Common Scoters, two Bonxie, one Arctic Skua, one Pomarine Skua, one Grey Phalarope, three Sabine’s Gulls, ten Arctic Terns and nine Arctic Terns at the Bridges of Ross between 15.00 and 17.00 (HB, JNM et al).
Two Ruff were at Cloughan Lough (TT).
There were ten Brent Geese at Bishop’s Quarter.(Anne Marie Gill)
