Great White Egret near Doonbeg John N Murphy

The Great White Egret was west of the Skivileen River at Doonbeg this afternoon. There were seven Grey Phalarope and over 100 Curlew Sandpiper at Seafield earlier. The adult American Golden Plover, three Ruff and 25 Sandwich Tern were at Doonbeg. Nine Grey Phalaropes and three Curlew Sandpipers were in the surf along the timeline at the White Strand, Doonbeg. One Grey Phalarope and the juvenile Sabine’s Gull were at Clahane. A male Peregrine was at Lahinch Marsh.(Jeff Copner)
