Black Tern at Lough Atedaun James Organ
A Pectoral Sandpiper was at Seafield, Quilty.(Chris Cullen)
Two Mediterranean Gull and a Common Scoter were at Brews Bridge. One of the Med Gulls was colour ringed (yellow ring black writing 2N91) and had previously been seen in Dublin earlier this year. A female Wheatear was at Shanakyle Cemetery.(Peter & Sean Whelan)
A juvenile Sabine’s Gull, one dark phase Arctic Skua, two Grey Phalarope and two Whimbrel were at Ross Ringing Station and one Wheatear was in Kilbaha.(John N Murphy)
Three Greenland Wheatear and 74 Golden Plover were at Clahane.(Geoff Pearson)
Two juvenile Ruff were at Ballyallia. (James Organ) Two Black Tern, 250 Black-tailed Godwit and a Kingfisher were at Lough Atedaun. (Charlie Lyons & JO). A Barn Owl flew across the car park at Lough Atedaun this evening.(JO)
