There was a small flock of six Little Egrets in a field just outside Foynes on the Limerick city side not far from Robertstown Creek this morning.

Single Barn Owls were seen at Killoughteen, Newcatle West and at Kilbeheney.
A Blackcap was seen in a garden in Raheen, the first report of the species in Limerick this winter.
A Buzzard was seen at the M7/M20 Rossbrien junction.

There was on first-winter Iceland Gull, an adult Ring-billed Gull, one Little Egret, 60 Dunlin and five Sanderling at Glin today.

15 Crossbills were seen at the Limerick/Kerry border near Knockathea.
A adult male Hen Harrier was seen in the west Limerick uplands.

There was a flock of 12 Crossbills near Athea West this morning with one large young male bird in the flock showing two rosé coloured wing-bars.
A male Hen Harrier was seen near Effin.
Sunday 1st December 2013
292 Wigeon, 55 Tufted Duck, 48 Teal, 11 Gadwall, eight Shoveler, three Scaup and at least one Water Rail were at Lough Gur.
Eleven Whooper Swans, inc. two juveniles, were at Rathcannon.

17 Whooper Swans were at Athlacca. Only two of the flock were juvenile birds. Three Mute Swans were also in attendance.
A Dipper was seen on the Shannon at Castleoaks, Castleconnell.
