The adult Iceland Gull was on the Shannon at Bishop’s Quay in Limerick City (TT).
A Great Spotted Woodpecker was reported drumming at Ballyorgan (per Tony Mee).
A Blackcap was at Ballyorgan (TM).

Friday 29th March 2024

One Hawfinch was seen at the carpark at Curraghchase. A Great Spotted Woodpecker was also heard drumming nearby(Aidan Kelly).
A Willow Warbler was in song at Lough Gur. 30 Tufted Duck, 18 Wigeon and a Great Crested Grebe were also present.

A Swallow was at Ballyorgan (Tony Mee).

A pair of Ring-necked Ducks were at Lough Gur. At least 40 Sand Martins were also present (TT).

A Swallow and a Chiffchaff were at Pallasgreen (Patrick Bailey).
Two Chiffchaffs were at Shanid (Clodagh Glasgow).

A Blackcap and Chiffchaff were in song at Ballyclough (Derek Casey).
A Chiffchaff was in song at Crecora (DC).

At least four Ring-necked Ducks (three males & at least one female) were at Lough Gur. 55 Tufted Ducks, 44 Wigeon and two Buzzards were also present (TT).
Eight Sand Martins were at Annacotty (Pat Murphy).
A Buzzard was at Crecora (Derek Casey).

A pair of Great Spotted Woodpeckers were seen at Murroe (Mike Quirke).
