Two 2cy Mediterranean Gulls were at Robertstown (TT).
A Blackcap and a Chiffchaff were in song at Westfields. Two Gadwall pairs and a Pochard pair were also present (TT).
Four Buzzards were at Curraghchase (Fergus Flood).


Monday 27th March 2023

The first Swallow report of the Spring came from Kildimo this morning (John N Murphy).
A Willow Warbler, 15 Gadwall and seven Pochard were at Coonagh (TT).
A Chiffchaff, 45 Oystercatchers and eight Shoveler were at King’s Island marsh.


Sunday 26th March 2023

A Chiffchaff and four Buzzards were at Clashganniff, Shanagolden (Clodagh Glasgow).
A Chiffchaff and four Buzzards were at Crecora (Derek Casey).


Saturday 25th March 2023

Two Hen Harriers, a Peregrine Falcon, three Buzzards and two Kestrels were seen on the Branch outing to the Ballyhoura Mts.(Maura Turner & Tony Mee).


Sunday 19th March 2023

35 Sand Martins were at Lough Gur (TT).
A Buzzard was at Clashganniff, Shanagolden (Clodagh Glasgow).


Saturday 18th March 2023

Eleven Sand Martins were on the Shannon at Limerick City (TT)
The sub-adult Iceland Gull was at Harvey’s Quay (TT).


Thursday 16th March 2023

A Willow Warbler was in song at Shanid Castle (Clodagh Glasgow).


Tuesday 14th March 2023

A Blackcap was in song on the nature trail at Aughinish Island (TT).
Two Buzzards were at Robertstown (TT).
Nine Pochard were at Westfields (John N Murphy).


Monday 13th March 2023

A Blackcap was singing at Curraghchase Forest Park.(John N. Murphy)


Friday 10th March 2023

A sub-adult White-tailed Eagle was seen at the Cormorant colony at Bunlickey this morning (John N Murphy).
The bird was seen again later in the evening at the same location (Henry Wilkinson).
Two Hawfinches were at Curraghchase (Aidan Kelly).
A Yellowhammer was seen again for the second time this winter at Courtbrown, Askeaton (John Hewson).
