Male Marsh Harrier at Shannon Airport Lagoon John N Murphy

A male Marsh Harrier was at the Shannon Airport Lagoon along with one Little Egret and three Water Rails. (John N Murphy)

75 Whimbrel, a Common Sandpiper, a pair of Ringed Plover, two Snipe, 20 Gadwall, a pair of Shelduck, a drake Teal and a drake Pochard were at Coonagh today along with numerous Willow Warblers, Sedge Warblers and Whitethroats (TT).
Two 2nd calendar year Iceland Gulls were at Harvey’s Quay, Limerick City (TT).

A Grasshopper Warbler was at Doolough Lake.(Páidí Cullinan)
Eighteen Whimbrel, nine White Wagtail, nine Purple Sandpiper, six Great Northern Diver and 70 Sanderling were at Seafield, Quilty.(PC)
Thirty eight Brent Geese, seven Whimbrel, 11 Great Northern Diver and three Little Egret were at Rine Point.(PC)

Cuckoos were reported calling in Feakle, Mullagh, Cooraclare, Lissycasey, Ballyvaughan and Mullaghmore.
