Lesser Yellowlegs at Islandavanna John N Murphy

The juvenile Lesser Yellowlegs was still near Islandavanna again today. (John N Murphy et al)
One juvenile Yellow Wagtail was along the road to Cloghaun Lough, Loop Head with three Chiffchaffs in Kilbaha and two Goldcrests. (JNM)
There were 5,500 Kittiwakes, 3,000 Gannets, one adult Pomarine Skua, three Manx Shearwaters and two Brent Geese past the Bridges of Ross this evening. (JNM)
One Little Stint and 130 Golden Plover were at Doonbeg. (JNM)

Lesser Yellowlegs at Islandavanna Howard Williams

One juvenile Lesser Yellowlegs was at Islandavanna Clarecstle today, along with five Ruff, one Merlin and one Peregrine. (Chris Cullen & Howard Williams)

Also at Loop Head were one Garden Warbler, two Chiffchaffs, one Long-tailed Tit and two Bullfinches. (AGK)

At the Bridges of Ross today there were one late Great Shearwater, one Black Tern, ten Arctic Terns, two Pomarine Skuas, 18 Arctic Skuas, 12 Bonxies, 25 Leach’s Petrels, 90+ Storm Petrels, nine Grey Phalaropes, 55 Sooty Shearwaters, 35 Manx Shearwaters, 24 Great Northern Divers and eight Red-throated Divers. A young male Firecrest in Kilbaha John N Murphy

A FIRECREST, three Yellow-browed Warbler and one Chiffchaff were in Keating’s Garden Kilbaha.(John N Murphy)

Yellow-browed Warbler on Loop Head John N Murphy

A juvenile American Golden Plover, a Pectoral Sandpiper and 300 Golden Plover were being harassed by a Merlin and a male Peregrine in the Plover Fields at Loop Head this morning.(John N. Murphy)
Three Yellow-browed Warbler were in the gardens and willows in Kilbaha along with two Chiffchaff, six Goldcrest, a Blackcap and one Wheatear. (JNM)
A Grasshopper Warbler was at the Lighthouse early this morning. (JNM)
A Red-throated Diver, a flock of 45 Raven, 200 Jackdaw and 100 Rook were coming in off the sea at first light this morning. (JNM)
Twenty four Rock Dove were on the Headland.(JNM)

A GREAT WHITE EGRET was a Two mile Gate Lough Derg. (Sinead Biggane)

At the Bridges of Ross this morning there were six Red-throated Divers, one Pomarine Skua, one Arctic Skua, one Arctic Tern and one drake Common Scoter. (Geoff Pearson)
At Loop Head and Kilbaha there were two Willow Warblers, three Goldcrest, one Wheatear and 290 Golden Plover. (JNM)
Thirty five Dunlin, 150 Wigeon, 120 Tufted Duck, 96 Lapwing, 83 Teal, 52 Black-tailed Godwit, 21 Curlew, 16 Little Grebe, eight Shoveler and a flock of over 200 Wood Pigeon were at Ballyallia.(Nuala and Tom Lynch, Páidí Cullinan)

A dead Woodcock was found at Mary Immaculate College. The bird appears to have collided with the glass walls at the entrance during Storm Ophelia (Shelia O’Callaghan).
