Merlin at Black Head Paul Troake

The American Herring Gull was at Kilkee.(Páidí Cullinan)
The drake Surf Scoter, 52 Common Scoters and 28 Black-throated Divers were at Coolsiva Pier. (Paul Troake)
An adult Iceland Gull, a 3CY and a 2CY bird were at Moveen.(PC)
Three hundred and sixty eight Golden Plover and 37 Rock Dove were at Loop Head.(PC)
One Pink-footed Goose and 62 Barnacle Geese were on Illaunonearaun.(PC)
One 2CY Iceland Gull was at Caherush.(Jeff Copner)
Three hundred Barnacle Geese were on Mutton Island.(JC)
At Black Head there were 45 Black Guillemots close to shore along with 100+ Manx Shearwaters, one Merlin and nine Common Scoters. (PT)
Two Long-tailed Ducks were at Bishops Quarter with 25 Common Scoters at the Flaggy Shore. (PT)

White-fronted Goose at Cullaunysheeda Lake John N Murphy

One adult White-fronted Goose was still with the Greylags and Mute Swans on the north east shore of Cullaunysheeda Lake this afternoon. (John N Murphy)
Chiffchaffs were reporting singing widespread throughout the country this morning.

The six Iceland Gulls were on the Shannon between O’Callaghan’s Strand and Honan Quay again today (TT).
Three Buzzards were at Knockfierna (Paddy Trainor).

Chough at Loop Head John N Murphy

The American Herring Gull was at Byrnes’s Cove, Kilkee (Maureen & Dave Fox), and the Long-tailed Duck was still in the bay.
There was one 2CY Iceland Gull at Ross Bay, Loop Head with two male Peregrines hunting Kilbaha Harbour. (John N Murphy)
There were 105 Barnacle Geese on Illaunonearaun. (Dixie Collins)

The drake Surf Scoter was still at Coolsiva Pier with 16 Long-tailed Ducks off Aughinish. (DB)
There were over 400 Manx Shearwaters up the mouth of the Shannon Estuary with ten Common Terns off Kilbaha (John Collins & John N Murphy)
The first Willow Warbler of the year was singing at Addroon Bridge. (Cliff Baxter)
There were 500-700 Manx Shearwaters between Loop Head and the Bridges of Ross with 50 Bottle-nosed Dolphins. (JC)

The American Herring Gull was at Kilkee. (Ian Stevenson & Jim Bowman).
The drake Surf Scoter was at Coolsiva Pier (Paidi Cullinan), along with 27 Common Scoter, with two Black-throated Divers at Black Head and 14 Black-throated Divers off Ballyvaughan Pier.
One bird showing characteristics of Scandinavian Rock Pipit littoralis was at Clahane. (PC)

Two Swallows, 25 Sand Martins, ten Pocahrd, 14 Tufted Duck, four Mallard, ten Greylag Geese and three Great Crested Grebes were at Coonagh.
