A 2nd summer Yellow-legged Gull was at Harvey’s Quay, Limerick City. (TT)
33 Sand Martin nests were counted in the quay walls between Charlotte’s Quay and Harvey’s Quay (TT).

There were three Reed Warblers singing at the Shannon Airport Lagoon this evening .(John N Murphy) This is the first possible breeding records for the county.

Two male Reed Warblers were in song at Coonagh this morning. Two pairs of Gadwall with chicks were on the upper lagoon along with another Gadwall pair and two pairs of Great Crested Grebes (TT).

A probable Short-toed Lark was seen briefly at Loop Head this morning (Tony Mee). The bird was flushed near the headland and flew westwards out to sea.
