Five Reed Warblers were in song at Coonagh. A Whitethroat, four Swift, a Cuckoo and nine Whimbrel were also present (TT).

Single Swifts were seen today in Limerick City and Newcastle West (TT & Geoff Hunt). A House Martin was at Newcastle West (GH). Four Whimbrel, six Gadwall, two Great-crested Grebes and a Cuckoo were at Coonagh (TT) A Cuckoo was at Carrigkerry (GH).
A Barn Owl was at Bodyke early this morning.(Paul Troake) Sixty whimbrel were resting on the south shore of Lough Graney.(PT)
A Cuckoo was calling at Ballynatona, Galbally (Andrew Holmes).
