Immature Linnet at Loop Head feeding on the last few blackberries John N Murphy

At Loop Head today there was a immature Willow Warbler at the Bog Road while at the Fodry there was one Merlin and a Buzzard. (John N Murphy)
One Buzzard was at Newmarket-on-Fergus Village (JNM) with another Buzzard was at Hurler’s Cross, Shannon (Tom Tarpey).

A drake Ring-necked Duck, two Greater Scaup, 17 Goldeneye, 18 Pochard and 873 Tufted Duck were at Ardclooney Resevoir.(Páidí Cullinan)

There was one Buzzard at Applewood, Ballycar, another at Craggaunowen, two at Rossroe Lake, one at Manusmore and one at Meelick this afternoon. (JNM)

Two Buzzards were at Curraghchase (JNM) and single birds were at Bleach Lough (JNM) and Garranroe (TT).

The Ring-necked Duck and a Jay were also at Ballyallia.(Páidí Cullinan)
The Black-headed Gull with a white darvic ring on left leg with black inscription 29HB was back at Ballyallia for a third year in a row. This bird was ringed as a nestling on the 3rd of June 2014 at Cokes Pit, Somerford Keynes, Gloucestershire UK. It also returned to this site on November 5th 2018.(PC)
