Three Redshank were on the Shannon in Limerick City (TT).

A 1st winter Yellow-legged Gull was at O’Callaghan’s Strand (JNM & FMcG).

A Waxwing was found on a road in the Westbury housing estate, Parteen (Judy O’Connor). The bird was taken to the Animal Magic rescue facility in Kilmallock for rehabilitation (Denis McCarthy).

Highlights between Aughinish Island and Coolsiva Pier today were; one adult drake Surf Scoter, 11 Black-throated Divers, 21 Long-tailed Ducks, one adult Mediterranean Gull and the white Curlew at Bishop’s Quarter. (John N Murphy & Finbar MacGabhann)
A female Marsh Harrier was at Ballyallia Lake.(Páidí Cullinan, JNM & FMacG)
The Spotted Redshank, two Ruff and two Greenshank were at the flooded fields between Ballyallia Lake and Lough Erinagh, with two male Peregrine at Drumcliff. (JNM & FMacG)
