Juvenile AGP with Golden Plover Ross Bay Jeff Copner

Two Merlin, a Buzzard, 160 Golden Plover, three Lapwing and two Snipe were at Loop Head (Tom Tarpey).
A Chiffchaff, 44 Snipe, eight Redpolls and four Siskins were at Kilbaha (Phil Brennan, Douge Dickson, Mark Gibson and TT).
24 Mallard, 14 Teal and eight Snipe were at Cloghaun Lough (TT).

One American Golden Plover was with a flock of 90 European Golden Plovers at Loop Head. There were eight Snow Bunting at the lighthouse and a Wheatear. (Douge Dickson and Mark Gibson)

There was one Pied Flycatcher and two Snow Buntings at the Fodry, Loop Head . ( Chris Cullen)

A Buff-bellied Pipit (American Pipit) was near Castle Point Kilkee. (John N Murphy)
This is a third county record of this rare north American vagrant.
Also in the area were two Snow Bunting, one immature female Hen Harrier, one Wheatear, three Swallows, one Chiffchaff and two Goldcrest.

A Buzzard, 14 Gadwall, six Shoveler, 18 Tufted Duck and ten Pochard were at Coonagh (TT).

At the Bridges of Ross today there were ten Manx Shearwaters, one juvenile Long-tailed Skua, two Bonxies, one Leach’s Petrel, one Black-throated Diver, three Red-throated Divers, one Arctic Tern, one Little Gull, one Mediterranean Gull, two Common Scoter, nine Teal, 18 Brent Geese and 12 Grey Phalaropes.(John N Murphy & Geoff Pearson)
There were eight Twite at the car Park at the Bridges of Ross, with 110 Golden Plover at Ross Bay along with 40 Turnstone and 28 Ringed Plover. (JNM)
