A female Long-tailed Duck was at Bunlicky (Gerry Murphy).
Black-headed Gull Yellow 286B was at Clancy’s Strand. It was ringed as chick in June 2008 at Aghinish, Lough Mask, Co. Mayo and was last seen in Limerick on 28/12/18. It is now the oldest know survivor from the Lough Mask colour ringing project (2006-2009) wintering in Limerick at 14.5 years old, eclipsing Yellow 208P who was 14.25 years old when last seen on 10/9/21.

Two Common Sandpiper, a Buzzard, a female Blackcap and 34 Whooper Swan were seen during the course of the Clare Branch outing to Ballyallia and Drumcliffe. Visibility was limited due to heavy fog.(Nuala and Tom Lynch, Sean Whelan, Stan Nugent, James Organ, Dixie Collins et al)

A flock of 41 Tufted Duck and 11 Goldeneye were at Mountshannon Harbour. (PC)

Immature male Snow Bunting at Loop Head John N Murphy

There were 16 Snow Buntings at the Eire sign at Loop Head Lighthouse along with 40 Song Thrushes around the headland and a male Bullfinch at Kilbaha. (John N Murphy)

There were 200 Barnacle Geese on Mattle Island and one Kingfisher at Doonbeg.(John Collins)
