At Ross, Loop Head this morning between 09.30-12.30 there were 160 Cory’s Shearwater, one dark-phased Arctic Skua, six Sooty Shearwater and 14 Whimbrel.(John N. Murphy)

A SCOPOLI’S SHEARWATER flew west past the Bridges of Ross this morning.
Also at Bridges of Ross between 06.00 and 17.00 was one Wilson’s Storm Petrel, 836 Cory’s Shearwater, 94 Great Skua, 55 Sooty Shearwater, six adult Sabine’s Gull, one Long-tailed Skua, two Pomarine Skua, four Great Skua and three Arctic Skua. Adult Rosie Starling at Spanish Point Aine Freeley
