A tagged White-tailed Eagle was in a field by the N21 on the Croagh side of Rathkeale.
A Blackcap was in a garden at Dooradoyle (Donogh Sweeney).

During the course of the Clare Branch of BWI outing a Great White Egret was seen at Ballyvaughan. Seven Black-throated Diver(including one in summer plumaged), one Red-throated Diver, 54 Red-breasted Merganser and 80 Brent Goose were at the Rine. Five Common Scoter were off Coolshiva Pier.(Nuala and Tom Lynch, Sean Whelan, Charlie Lyons et al)
A Glaucous Gull was seen between Cross and Kilbaha.(Chris Cullen)
Six Manx Shearwater were off the tip of Loop Head.(CC)
Three Purple Sandpiper were at Horse Island.(CC)

A drake Garganey and a Chiffchaff were at Coonagh (Tom Tarpey).
A Chiffchaff was in song at Mungret (Donogh Sweeney).

A White-tailed Eagle was at Abbeyville early this morning, flying south towards Clarecastle.(Ian Garry)
