The drake SURF SCOTER was still at Lahinch (John N Murphy & Dave McNamara), along with 45 Common Scoter and 47 Red-throated Divers.

At the Beal near the mouth of the Skivileen River, Doughmore there was one second-winter Glaucous Gull, 42 Wigeon and 280 Lapwing and six Red-throated Divers (John N Murphy)
A flock of over 250 Barnacle Geese were on Mutton Island while 75 Sanderling and 50 Mallard were at Quilty Beach. (John N Murphy)
One Kumlien’s Iceland Gull flew over Kilbaha harbour, Loop Head and 50 Herrring Gulls were in a field next to Crottys Cross on the way to the lighthouse along with 80 Common Gulls, 800 Starling, while 12 Chough were near the lighthouse and 200 Guillemots were on the sea off the tip. (John N Murphy)
