Cedar Waxwing at Kilrush Wood Mary Keating (photo taken on a mobile phone)

A CEDAR WAXWNG (the third Irish record) visited a catoneaster bush in the car park at Vaundeluer Gardens in Kilrush Wood today. (Mary Keating) This record only came to light on 13th June when the photos were submitted to JM of the Clare Branch.
A Buzzard was observed hunting at Slieve Bearnagh today. (Paul Troake)
One Common Sandpiper was at Lough Bunny. (Jeff Copner)
There were two Little Egrets at Lough Cullaun, two more were at Lough Muchanagh and one was at Lough Atedaun. (Jeff Copner)
