Also in North Clare between Ballyvaughan and Aughinish there were 220 Brent Geese, nine Little Egret, 60 Great Northern Divers, four Red-throated Divers, 30 Common Scoter, 50 Red-breasted Mergansers, 60 Shellduck, 200 Teal, 300 Wigeon, 50 Bar-tailed Godwits, 20 Grey Plover, 30 Razorbill, ten Guillemot, 20 Black Guillemot, six Gannet, 500 Common Gull and an additional two Sandwich Terns were off the Martelloe Tower at Aughinsh.
