42 Whooper Swans, 227 Wigeon, 70 Teal, 40 Shoveler, 26 Gadwall, 42 Tufted Duck, two Buzzards and a Peregrine Falcon were at Lough Gur (Tony Mee).
51 Tufted Duck. a Pochard and a Blackcap were at Westfields (Niall Keogh).
20 Little Egrets were at Grange Bridge (Andrew Holmes).

An Polish colour ringed adult Black-headed Gull, Yellow TLW5, was the Lax Weir, Corbally (TT). The bird was ringed as an adult on 15/5/2019 at Lubczyna in north western Poland, close to the German border, 1551km from Limerick. This is the second eastern European Black-headed Gull recorded in Limerick this winter.
50 Tufted Duck, two Pochard, eight Mallard and five Mute Swans were at Westfields (TT).

The drake American Wigeon was still at the flooded fields near Kells today along with 100 Whooper Swans. (Barry Howell)
