A 1st winter Yellow-legged Gull was at O’Callaghan’s Strand (TT).

Three Whooper Swans, 15 Gadwall, 12 Mallard, two Shoveler, three Wigeon, six Teal, 24 Tufted Duck, seven Pochard and two Little Egrets were at Coonagh and a Buzzard was nearby at Clondrinagh (TT).

A Red Kite flew over the N21 north of Adare (Geoff Hunt).

A Wheatear was at the Fairgreen, Limerick City (Pearse Ryan).

Two Chiffchaffs were in song at Ballycullane, Grange and two more were near Fedamore (Gerry Murphy & Tom Tarpey).
Six Buzzards were also in the area (GM & TT).
Six Buzzards were also at Lough Gur (TT).


Wednesday 14th September 2022

A Red Kite was reported flying over the Dock Road near Barney’s Bridge (Annie Downing, eBird).
A juvenile Mediterranean Gull was at Robertstown (Geoff Hunt).
