A Black Redstart was seen in a private garden in Bruff today.

A Herring Gull with atypical pale yellow legs was seen at Tarbert (Geoff Hunt).
A Little Egret was seen on the Shannon at the Mill Road, Corbally.

Four Hen Harriers were seen in the Doon area during the Branch Outing. Two Crossbills were also heard in the area.

Three Crossbills. a Hen Harrier and a flock of 40 Golden Plover were seen near Carrigkerry.
A Buzzard was seen at Glenwilliam, Ballingarry.
Swallows were reported from several locations around the County.

A Black-necked Grebe, moulting into summer plumage, was found at Lough Gur this morning (Paul Troake). This is the second record of the species at Lough Gur and the fifth for the County. A male Scaup and 15 Sand Martins were also present.
The first Swallows of the year was seen at Rathbane and Dooradoyle today.

A Blackcap, Willow Warbler and Chiffchaff were all in song at Gortadroma, Ballyhahill today.
A dead Barn Owl (road casualty) was found on the N21 at Reens Pike, west of Rathkeale.
Up to eight Sand Martins were seen in Bruff.
Tuesday 27th March, 2012
One Sand Martin was at Ballysimon this morning.
Two Willow Warblers and a Chiffchaff were in song at Cratloe East, Athea. This is the first Willow Warbler record of the year in Limerick. Nine Golden Plover were also seen in the area.
Monday 26th March 2012
Three Sand Martins were seen on the River Mulkear at Castletroy. These are the first recorded in the County this year.
A Hen Harrier was seen near Cooperhill, Mungret.
