At Termon Lough on the Clare/Galway border there were two drake Pochard and 126 Tufted Duck. (JNM)

There were 44 Purple Sandpiper, 35 Brent Goose and four Chough at Seafield, 280 Barnacle Goose on Mutton Island and 21 Whooper Swan at Lough Donnell, during a well attended Clare Branch outing.(Nuala and Tom Lynch, Sean Whelan, Dixie Collins, Ray Glynn, Ian Garry et al)
The Richardson’s Cackling Goose had moved with the flock of Barnacle Geese to Killard near Doonbeg.(Chris Cullen)
