This morning at Loop Head between Ross and the Bridges of Ross from 06.30-12.30 there was one Wilson’s Storm Petrel (TC), over 100 Cory’s Shearwater, 14 Sooty Shearwater, an adult and a juvenile Sabine’s Gull, one Great Shearwater, ten Storm Petrels, one first-winter Mediterranean Gull, two Puffin, one Ringer Plover at sea and four Whimbrel.(Tony Cully & John N. Twelve Sooty Shearwater, an Arctic Skua, 54 Storm Petrel, 13 Puffin, four Sandwich Tern, four Dunlin and a passage of over 5000 Storm Petrel per hour from late morning were recorded at the Bridges of Ross.(Sean Holland, Chris Cullen. 07.50-11.50
