Two juvenile Black Terns, a 2nd calendar year Arctic Tern and three Swift were at Coonagh (TT).

At the Bridges of Ross there was 22 Long-tailed Skuas, 46 Arctic Skuas, 61 Bonxies, five Pomarine Skua, 50 Leach’s Petrels, four Storm Petrels, 22 Sabines Gulls, three Little Gulls, 40 Grey Phalaropes, nine Red-throated Divers, seven Great Northern Divers. At Black Head there were two Bonxies, one adults Sabine’s Gull, one Leach’s Petrel and 15 Storm Petrels. (Paul Troake)
Two Bonxues were off the Rine, Ballyvaughan. (PT)

A Scottish colour-ringed Lesser Black-backed Gull (White 8W4C) was seen at O’Callaghan’s Strand today. Ringing details will be posted when avialable (Geoff Hunt)

At the Bridges of Ross today there was one Wilson’s Petrel, over 90 Leach’s Petrels, 20 Storm Petrels, three juvenile Long-tailed Skuas, two adult Pomarine Skuas, 80 Bonxies, 60 Arctic Skuas, 20 Sabine’s Gulls, one Little Gull, 35 Grey Phalaropes and 30 Sooty Shearwaters (Aidan Kelly, Jim Dowdall et al).
One juvenile Sabine’s Gull was on Kilkee Beach this morning (Cillian Murphy).

A juvenile and adult Great Skua with a juvenile Sabine’s Gull feeding on a young dead auk that the Bonxies killed at the Bridges of Ross and up to six Bonxies were recorded feeding on this bird at one point. If you look closely you can see that the adult bird on the right hand side is wearing a metal ring on it’s right leg. John N Murphy

At the Bridges of Ross today there were 110 Great Skus, 60 Arctic Skuas, three Pomarine Skuas, 24 Sooty Shearwaters, 14 Grey Phalaropes, 21 Sabines Gulls, three Storm Petrels, 80 Arctic Skuas, 12 Teal, two Great Northern Divers and 30 Sandwich Terns.(John N Murphy, Aidan Kelly, Jimmy DOWDALL et al)

Juvenile Osprey at Shannon Airport Lagoon John N Murphy

1100 Black-tailed Godwits were at Beagh Castle. A Sanderling (scarce in Limerick) was seen at Courtbrown (Paul Troake).

An Osprey was at the Shannon Airport Lagoon today, probably the same one from across the river at Ringmoylan Pier. (Chris Pappiat)
One Wilson’s Petrel was at The Bridges of Ross this afternoon (Dave MaNamara & Geoff Pearson).
Also at the Bridges this evening were three Leach’s Petrels, 90 Sooty Shearwaters and 42 Common Scoter (DMcN & GP)
Seven Leach’s Petrel, an adult Sabine’s Gull, an Arctic Skua, a Great Skua and 26 Sooty Shearwater were at the Bridges of Ross, 07.25-09.40.(Alex Ash)
One female Hen Harrier, 14 Golden Plover and five Wheatears were at Loop Head (DMcN & GP)
One adult Mediterranean Gull was at Quilty (DMcN)
There was one Ruff, 1,400 Black-tailed Godwits, 400 Dunlin, 40 Knot, 160 Redshank, one Ringed Plover, one Sanderling and two Little Egrets at the Shannon Airport Lagoon this evening.(John N Murphy)

One adult Mediterranean Gull flew west over Applewood, Ballycar this evening (JNM)
