One of the large flock of Twite near Moveen John N Murphy

There was a flock of 45 Twite flying between Illaunonearaun and the coast fields at Moveen and Castle Point. (John N Murphy)

Iceland Gull at Farrihy John N Murphy

One 2CY Iceland Gull and 130 Golden Plover were at Farrihy with another 260 Golden Plover at Moveen. (JNM)
There were three Buzzards at Ballykett, Kilrush.(JNM)

The Glossy Ibis was seen again King’s Island marsh (Will O’Connor).
Two Buzzards were at Ballyclough (Derek Casey).

The Cackling Goose was still at Killard, Doonbeg along with 778 Barnacle Geese. (Mike Sylvia)
There were 186 Golden Plover and one Black-tailed Godwit at the Plover Fields, Loop Head with another 200 Golden Plover near Cross.(John N Murphy)
One Merlin was hunting fields near Castle Point, Kilkee.(JNM)
A pair of Buzzard were holding territory at Ballygriffey.(Dixie Collins)
One Long-eared Owl was picked up dead on a roadside near Ennis. (per John Collins)
There were 42 Shelduck at Bell Harbour.(Jan Biemans)
There were 36 Whooper Swans at Moynoe, Scarriff. (Brendan Cooney)

A Glossy Ibis was at the King’s Island marsh (Pat Lysaght). This is the fifth record for the County. A report was also received recently about one seen at Healy’s Field about two weeks that is mostly likely to be the same bird (per Geoff Hunt).
A Hawfinch was seen near the upper playground at Curraghchase (Brian McCloskey).
A Blackcap was at Crecora (Derek Casey).

Glaucous Gull at Aughinish Jeff Copner

One 2CY Glaucous Gull and seven Long-tailed Ducks were off Aughinish Island. (Jeff Copner)

There were 60 Whooper Swans at Lough Atedaun along with another 48 in the Tubber area. (James Organ)
