There were 13,000 Manx Shearwaters flying west past Ross during a two hour seawatch this morning. (John N Murphy)

A pair of Great Spotted Woodpeckers were seen carrying food for young near Cappamore for the second successive year (Mike Quirke).
Four Reed Warblers, seven Sedge Warblers and four Blackcaps were at the Coonagh Nature reserve along with two Gadwall, three Tufted Duck and a Great Crested Grebe (TT).

A 2cy Lesser Black-backed Gull, Blue F:A40, was at O’Calllaghan’s Strand. The bird was ringed as chick on Flat Holm Island in the Welsh side of the Bristol Channel June 21st, 2021.
