A 3cy Yellow-legged Gull was at Clancy’s Strand (TT)

A pale summer plumage Arctic Skua flew west at Ross this afternoon along with two Black Guillemots and 15,000 Manx Shearwaters (ph). (John N Murphy)
There were 20,000 Manx Shearwaters (ph) flying west past Ross this morning over a two hour period. (JNM)

A 3cy Yellow-legged Gull was at Clancy’s Strand (Tom Tarpey).
A fledged juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker was seen near Murroe(TT).

A juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker was seen at in a nest hole near Murroe, while a second juvenile was heard begging for food nearby (Tom Tarpey). This is at least the third consecutive year of successful breeding in the area.
