At least ten Reed Warblers were at Coonagh, inc. several juveniles and one singing male. 61 Gadwall, five Shoveler, a Wigeon, nine Tufted Duck, four Pochard, a Black-tailed Godwit, a SWift and a Buzzard were also present (TT).

Off Ross, Loop Head this morning there were right Sooty Shearwaters and two Sandwich Terns (10.00-11.30)(John N Murphy)

This morning at Ross, Loop Head (7.00-9.00) there was one Blue Fulmar, three Sooty Shearwaters, 1,000 Manx Shearwaters (ph), two Storm Petrels, one Puffin, 17 Curlew and one Hump-backed Whale. (John N Murphy)
Off Ross between 16.00 & 17.00 there were five Sooty Shearwaters, two Storm Petrels, one Sandwich Tern and a male Peregrine.(JNM)

Two of three Long-eared Owls near Corofin James Organ

A seawatch off Ross, Loop Head this morning (8.00-10.00) produced ten Sooty Shearwaters, 14,000 Manx Shearwaters (ph), two dark phased adult Arctic Skuas, 26 Sanderling and 17 Sandwich Terns. (John N Murphy)
There were three Long-eared Owls near Corofin this evening. (James Organ)
Two Buzzards were at Belvoir, Sixmilebridge. (Tom Tarpey)
Two Crossbills were at the 12 O’Clock Hills. (Tom Tarpey)

Four Buzzards and a Spotted Flycatcher were at Ballinlee, Bruff and two Buzzards were at Ballygrennan, Bruff (TT).

Off Ross, Loop Head this morning (8.15-11.15) there was one Wilson’s Storm Petrel (9.21) & again at (9.30), two Storm Petrels, six Great Shearwaters, two Balearic Shearwaters, 42 Sooty Shearwaters, 35,000 Manxies, one 2CY Long-tailed Skua, one adult-winter Mediterranean Gull, four Arctic Terns and 18 Sandwich Terns (John N Murphy)
One Common Sandpiper was at Moyasta Creek.(JNM)
