Grey Phalarope at Clahane John N Murphy

Only one Grey Phalarope remained at Clahane this morning with 57 Common Scoter and ten Red-throated Divers out in Liscannor Bay. (John N Murphy)
There was a flock of 50 Pink-footed Geese with a flock of 100 Barnacle Geese on Mattle Island.(JNM)
One Curlew Sandpiper was at Seafield, Quilty. (JNM)
Two adult-winter Mediterranean Gulls were at Killimer.(JNM)
One male Blackcap and three Redwing were in a small garden at Hags Head. (Jeff Copner)

Myrtle Warbler at Kilbaha John N Murphy

The Myrtle Warbler is still in Kilbaha village. (John N Murphy et al)
Six Grey Phalaropes were at Liscannor Bay along with one Kingfisher, a Merlin and one Peregrine. (Jeff Copner)
Also in Kilbaha were one Common Sandpiper, one Goldcrest, one Siskin, two Redpoll and two Swallows. (JNM)

Buzzard at Kells, Corofin James Organ

The Myrtle Warbler was still in Kilbaha this morning for the fifth day. (Seamus Feeney)

Yellow-rumped Warbler at Kilbaha Cottage (John N Murphy)

The Yellow-rumped Warbler is still in Kilbaha Cottage Garden this morning. (John N Murphy et al)
Also in Kilbaha village there was a Long-eared Owl, (a first for the Loop Head study area), five Redpoll, two Swallows, one Common Sandpiper, one Arctic Skua and 50 Snipe. (Dave McGrath, Joe Doolan, Eamonn Lynch, Jeff Copner & JNM)
A seawatch from the Bridges of Ross produced 202 Sooty Shearwaters, 50 Manx Shearwaters,two Bonxies, two Arctic Skuas, six Arctic Terns, 22 Common Scoter and two Red-throated Divers. (JNM, Geoff Pearson & Eamonn Larrissey)
One Arctic Skua flew south across the road near Cross Village early in the morning. (JNM)

Myrtle Warbler at Kilbaha John N Murphy

The Yellow-rumped Warbler was still in Kilbaha this morning. A Willow Warbler, a Chiffchaff and five Swallows were also in the gardens. A Kestrel and six Golden Plover were near the Lighthouse and a Kingfisher was in a drain near the harbour.(Finbar MacGabhann, Ray Glynn, Nuala and Tom Lynch, Tom Tarpey et al)
A Merlin was at Kilcredaun and two Swallows were at Carrigholt. (TT)
One Sabines Gull, one Leaches Petrel and one Arctic Skua were at the Bridges of Ross. (per irishbirds.com)

Yellow-rumped Warbler in Kilbaha Cottage Garden Paidi Cullinan

One Myrtle Warbler was in Kilbaha this morning. (Paidi Cullinan) This is only a second county record.
Also at Loop Head today were two Blackcaps, one Chiffchaff, one Siskin, one Wheatear, one Swallow and three Goldcrests.
At Toulles Lough, Corofin this evening there was a family party of five Whooper Swans (2ad 3juv), 20 Shoveler, 24 Gadwall, 125+ Black-tailed Godwits, 45+ Curlew, 25+ Lapwing, a large Black-headed Gull flock of 250+ and at least six Water Rail calling from around the reed beds.(James Organ)

At Loop Head and Kilbaha there were four Brent Geese flying south west past the headland, four Swallows, four Goldcrests and two Redpolls were in Kilbaha village.(MG, DD & JNM)
Four Swallows were at Rehy Hill near Rineville.(JNM)
Three Brent Geese and a juvenile Peregrine were at Poulnasherry Bay.(Stan Nugent & JNM)
