A Great Spotted Woodpecker was heard drumming at Curraghchase (Geoff Hunt).
An adult Mediterranean Gull was at Robertstown (TT).

A drake Ring-necked Duck was at Lough Gur. This is the 7th record for the County. Five Tufted Duck, 73 Wigeon and six Mallard were also present (Tom Tarpey).

At Black Head between 08.15-10.55 a Little Auk, nine Sooty Shearwater, four Manx Shearwater, one Storm Petrel and one first-winter Little Gull were observed.(Paul Troake)

At the Bridges of Ross between 10.00-14.00 there were 42 Sooty Shearwater, 20 Manx Shearwater, four Grey Phalarope, one Arctic Skua, two Great Northern Diver, one Storm Petrel and around a thousand Auk and Kittiwake per hour.(Geoff Pearson)
