The juvenile Osprey was still at Lahinch Marsh/Inagh River Estuary all day since morning.(Jeff Copner, Tom Tarpey & Geoff Pearson)

A 1cy Mediterranean Gull was at Lahinch earlier this afternoon.(TT)

Two White Wagtail were  at Liscannor.(GP)

A Peregrine was at Clounahinchy.(JC)

Wednesday 4th September 2024

An Osprey was at Lahinch Corkus. After being mobbed by two Hooded Crow it flew to the Ennistymon side of the marsh and out of view.(Geoff Pearson)

At Ross Ringing Station between 11.30-13.30 there were three Long-tailed Skua, 216 Cory’s Shearwater, five Great Shearwater, one Balearic Shearwater,  12 Sooty Shearwater, 19 Sandwich Tern and ten Arctic Tern.(John N Murphy)

A Ringed-bill Gull,  an Arctic Skua, two juvenile Sabine’s and a Great Skua were at Lahinch.(Jeff Copner)

At the tide ebbed at Islandavanna this evening there were three Curlew Sandpiper,  280 Black-tailed Godwit, 200 Knot, eight Whimbrel and  Kingfisher. (JNM)

An adult Yellow-legged Gull was at Clancy’s Strand (TT).

Off Ross Ringing Station between 11,30-13.30  there were 1100 Cory’s Shearwater,  650 Great Shearwater,  21 Sooty Shearwater,  one Sabine’s Gull,  one Grey Phalarope, five Arctic Skua  and nine Sanderling. (John N Murphy and Geoff Pearson)

Later a Great Skua, three Arctic Skua, one Brent Goose and five Sandwich Tern were off Ross Ringing Station.(GP)

Five White-tailed Wagtail were at Cloghaun Lough.(JNM)

There were 15 Crossbill at Crag, Lissycasey. (JNM )

The two White-tailed Eagle were at Lough Muckanagh again today.(Maura Crowe)
