A single Hawfinch was seen at Curraghchase (Geoff Hunt).
A Wheatear, seen at Coonagh today, was the first of the Spring in Limerick.
Chiffchaffs were heard at Ballybronogue, Patrickswell and at Coonagh.
A pair of Long-eared Owls was seen at Corbally.
Coonagh also had 16 Redshank, 14 Snipe, eight Lapwing, eight Dunlin, 25 Teal, 18 Pochard, 12 Tufted Duck, two Gadwall and a Little Egret as well as a late staying flock of 42 Fieldfares and two Redwings.

A Chiffchaff was in song at Coonagh and a Blackcap was in song at Ashbrook, Ennis Road Limerick today. These are the first reports of these summer migrants so far this year.
A pair of Buzzards was seen near Limerick City.

A Buzzard was seen above the N20 near Croom today.
A flock of Sand Martins was seen on the Maigue River near Adare.
30 Whooper Swans were in the field on the Kildimo side of the Ferry Bridge.
A female Blackcap was at Monaleen

Three Sand Martins and an adult Ring-billed Gull were on the Shannon at Arthur’s Quay, Limerick.
A female Hen Harrier was seen at the Branch outing to the Ballyhouras.

Two Hawfinches were at the Curraghchase (Finbarr MacGabhann).
Single Buzzards were seen today at Castle Oliver, Ballyorgan and at the M20 Ballyclough/Dooradoyle Junction.
There were 23 Whooper Swans were at Herbertstown.

The first Sand Martin report of the year comes from the Shannon at Plassey where a flock of ten birds was seen in the early afternoon.

A White-tailed Eagle was seen at Curraghchase today(Clodagh Glasgow). The bird was being mobbed at various stages by a Peregrine Falcon and a Raven.
