The female Ring-necked Duck was still at Westfields along with seven Gadwall, 22 Mallard, four Teal, four Pochard and 11 Tufted Duck. A Blackcap, three Chiffchaffs and a Sand Martin were also present (TT).

Two Buzzards were at Clashganniff, Shanagolden (Clodagh Glasgow).

Saturday 22nd March 2025

A Swallow was at Glenstal Abbey (Simon Sleeman).
A tagged White-tailed Eagle was in a field by the N21 on the Croagh side of Rathkeale.
A Blackcap was in a garden at Dooradoyle (Donogh Sweeney).

Friday 21st March 2025

A drake Garganey and a Chiffchaff were at Coonagh (Tom Tarpey).
A Chiffchaff was in song at Mungret (Donogh Sweeney).

Thursday 20th March 2025

Two Sand Martins were at the Abbey River at the Milk Market (Donogh Sweeney).

Sunday 16th March 2025

A Chiffchaff was at Rathfarra, Shanagolden (Clodagh Glasgow).

Saturday 15th March 2025

A Great Spotted Woodpecker was seen near the Kilmurry Student Village and one was also heard drumming in the area (James Organ).
Three Chiffchaffs were in song near Shanagolden. A Peregrine was also seen in the area (Clodagh Glasgow).

Friday 14th March 2025

A Chiffchaff was in song at Clashganniff, Shanagolden (Clodagh Glasgow).
30 Sand Martins were on the Shannon at Corbally (Maura Turner).

Thursday 13th March 2025

At least 20 Sand Martins were at the Mill Road, Corbally (Pat Lysaght).

Sunday 9th March 2025

The female Ring-necked Duck was still at Westfields along with eight Tufted Duck, two Pochard, five Gadwall, 15 Mallard, two Teal and a Buzzard (TT).
