A Ring-necked Duck and a Marsh Harrier were at Coonagh along with a Goldeneye, 14 Gadwall and ten Shoveler (TT).
An adult Iceland Gull was at O’Callaghan’s Strand and a Redshank was at Clancy’s Strand (TT).
A drake Garganey, two female/juvenile type Ring-necked Ducks and a female Goldeneye were at Coonagh (TT).
A Black Redstart was seen at a vacant site on the Dock Road, Limerick City (per Irishbirding – Scott Bastow)
Three Great Spotted Woodpeckers were in Curraghchase. Two birds were heard drumming simultaneously in separate locations, one of which was seen with a third bird. (Ciaran Cronin)
Two immature/female type Ring-necked Ducks were at Coonagh today along with a female type Marsh Harrier, 64 Gadwall, 38 Shoveler, 16 Teal, ten Mallard, eight Tufted Duck and 53 Coot (TT).
