One Osprey was seen briefly at Bleach Lough this afternoon (TT).
A Kingfisher was on the Shannon at UL (James Organ).

Monday 28th October 2024

Two Ospreys were reported fishing simultaneously at Bleach Lough today (per Allan Mee).

The Osprey was reported by fishermen at Bleach Lough shortly after noon today (per James Organ).
A Common Sandpiper was at Foynes (JO).

The Osprey was fishing at Bleach Lough again this morning (Andrew Holmes).

31 Mallard, 21 Mute Swans, two Tufted Duck, 17 Lapwing and a Curlew were at Lough Gur (TT).
A Buzzard and a Kestrel were also seen nearby at the Red Bog (TT).

The juvenile Osprey was seen at Bleach Lough again this morning (TT).
61 Gadwall, 16 Shoveler, two Wigeon, six Mallard, 16 Tufted Duck, 31 Coot and 16 Little Grebes were at Coonagh (TT).

A juvenile Marsh Harrier was hunting the reedbeds at Muckinish Point, Cooperhill, Mungret on the southern shore of the Shannon Estuary (Gerry Murphy).

The Osprey was seen again in the early morning at Bleach Lough (per John N Murphy).
