A Brambling and a Blackcap were seen in a garden in Monaleen.
Two adult Ring-billed Gulls were seen in Limerick City, one at Westfields and one at O’Callaghan’s Strand.
A large flock of about 40 Goldfinches was feeding on alder cones at St. Thomas’s Island at the Mill Road, Corbally

Long-tailed Duck at Seafield Jeff Copner

Two WHITE-TAILED EAGLES were at Mount Shannon late this afternoon (John N Murphy & Caoimhin O Neill).
There was one Buzzard and ten Jays at Ballygriffy Wood this afternoon (Cliff Baxter).
The Long-tailed Duck was still off Seafield, Quilty along with one Little Gull, 12 Great Northern Divers, 23 Purple Sandpipers, 120 Sanderling, 400 Dunlin, 300 Ringed Plover, one Grey Plover, two Greenshank, one Lesser Black-backed Gull and 100 Linnets (Jeff Copner).

There was one Long-tailed Duck and 20 Purple Sandpipers at Seafield, Quilty (Dave McNamara).

Eight Little Egrets and two Woodcock were at the Falls, Ennistymon (Dave McNamara).

A very distant shot of the female Ring-necked Duck at Ballyallia Lake John N Murphy

The female RING-NECKED DUCK and MARSH HARRIER were at the back end of Ballyallia Lake this afternoon (John N Murphy & Caoimhin O’Neill).
The adult winter FORSTER’S TERN was at Corronroo (John N Murphy & Caoimhin O’Neill), along with four Long-tailed Ducks, two Spotted Redshanks, one second-winter Little Gull, three adults and one first-winter Mediterannean Gulls, 16 Red-breasted Mergansers, 200 Lapwing, six Great Northern Divers, 60 Dunlin, 158 Wigeon and three Little Egrets (John N Murphy & Caoimhin O’Neill).
One Common Sandpiper was at the Quay in Clarecastle (Finbarr MacGabhann).
One male and one female Hen Harriers were at Lough Muchanagh, along with 37 White-fronted Geese (John N Murphy, Caoimhin O’Neill & Dave McNamara).
One female Hen Harrier was at Lahinch Marsh (Dave McNamara).
There was one Black-throated Diver and 7 Long-tailed Ducks off Aughinish (Dave McNamara).
There were 11 Little Egrets and one Woodcock at the Falls Ennistymon (Dave McNamara).
At Burrin Lake, New Quay there were 15 Whooper Swans and 25 Moorhen (John N Murphy & Caoimhin O’Neill).
A flock of 130 Common Gulls, 50 Wigeon and two Little Egrets were at Lough Murree on the Flaggy Shore  (John N Murphy & Caoimhin O’Neill).
One Merlin was on the New Line near Eagle Rock, the Burren (John N Murphy & Caoimhin O’Neill).
One Peregrine was near Dromore Lake, Ruan (John N Murphy & Caoimhin O’Neill).

A colour ringed adult winter Black-headed Gull (White 8FE) was seen at Harvey’s Quay today. It was ringed as a 2nd winter male bird in Copenhagen, Denmark on 6/2/2014.

One second-winter Glaucous Gull was at Fanore (Jeff Copner).

From Black Head to Ballyvaughan there were two Black-throated Divers, 38 Great Northern Divers, one Red-throated Diver, 12 Common Scoter, two Black Guillemot, one Great Crested Grebe 18 Brent Geese and one Merlin (Jeff Copner).

There were 60 Siskin, 43 Goldfinch and 20 Redpoll at Corivorin Grove, Ennis today (John N Murphy).
