Drake Teal at Bell Harbour Bay John N Murphy

One Common Sandpiper was at Ballycuggeran Beach, north of Killaloe, Lough Derg. (Bruce Carrick)
At Corronroo Bay there were three adult Mediterranean Gulls, two first-winter Med Gulls, one first-winter Ring-billed Gull, two Great Northern Divers, 42 Red-breasted Mergansers, 128 Brent Geese, one Spotted Redshank, 87 Redshank, 125 Wigeon, 96 Teal and four Little Egrets. (John N Murphy)
There were 50 Whooper Swans, 14 Greylag Geese, two Greenshank and a leucistic Curlew at Lough Atedaun. (Dave McNamara)
Off Finvarra Point there were four Black-throated Divers, four Long-tailed Ducks, four Common Scoter, 150 Curlew and ten Skylarks. (John N Murphy)

At Tulla Turlough, the Burren, there were 31 Whooper Swans, 200 Wigeon, 46 Tufted Duck and 128 Lapwing. (John N Murphy)

One hundred and twenty Redwing were feeding in a field just south of Lees Road Wood. Two Little Egret were at Drehednagower Bridge. (Nuala and Tom Lynch)

The drake RING-NECKED DUCK and 25 Whooper Swans were at Roo Lough. (Dave McNamara)
The FORSTER’S TERN was at Kinvarra, Galway (Dave McNamara).
The first-winter Ring-billed Gull was at the Post Office Field, Ennis.(Finbarr MacGabhann)
There was one Black-throated Diver, 75 Great Northern Divers, 70 Black Guillemots, three Little Egrets, 17 Long-tailed Ducks, 26 Grey Plover and ten Rock Doves off Aughinish Island. (Dave McNamara)
There were 78 Brent Geese at Lough Murre with on colour ringed bird Left Leg Red 4, right leg white C. (Dave McNamara)
There were three Black-throated Divers and 16 Long-tailed Ducks off Finvarra Point. (Dave McNamara)
At Ardclooney, lower Lough Derg there was one Chiffchaff, four Whooper Swans, 24 Greylag Geese, 100 Lapwing, 375 Tufted Duck, six Pochard (the first recorded in the county this year), 14 Greater Scaup, 12 Goldeneye, six Great Crested Grebes, two Grey Wagtails and an Otter. Kumlien’s Iceland Gull at Kilbaha John N Murphy

The drake SURF SCOTER was still at Lahinch (John N Murphy & Dave McNamara), along with 45 Common Scoter and 47 Red-throated Divers.
The LESSER YELLOWLEGS was at Moyasta Creek this afternoon, along with ten Greenshank and three Little Egrets. (John N Murphy)
The Black Redstart was still along the shore midway between Seafield and Lough Donnell along with one Merlin. (John N Murphy)
One Buzzard was at Ballygriffy Wood early this morning. (John N Murphy)
At the Beal near the mouth of the Skivileen River, Doughmore there was one second-winter Glaucous Gull, 42 Wigeon and 280 Lapwing and six Red-throated Divers (John N Murphy)
A flock of over 250 Barnacle Geese were on Mutton Island while 75 Sanderling and 50 Mallard were at Quilty Beach. (John N Murphy)
One Kumlien’s Iceland Gull flew over Kilbaha harbour, Loop Head and 50 Herrring Gulls were in a field next to Crottys Cross on the way to the lighthouse along with 80 Common Gulls, 800 Starling, while 12 Chough were near the lighthouse and 200 Guillemots were on the sea off the tip. (John N Murphy)
