First year Ring-billed Gull at Seafield, Quilty John N Murphy
One first-winter Ring-billed Gull was at Seafield beach, Quilty along with two male Wheatears, 60 Purple Sandpipers, 120 Turnstone, 100 Sanderling, 70 Dunlin, 68 Oystercatchers and 80 Common Gulls. (John N Murphy)
One first-winter and one second-winter Iceland Gull were at Loop Head along with two Carrion Crows at Ross Bay and a od of 20 Bottlenose Dolphins off the tip of the headland. (John N Murphy)
At Moyasta Creek and Poulnasherry Bay there were ten Little Egrets, 320 Teal, 80 Wigeon, 114 Shellduck, 80 Brent Geese and two Stock Doves. (John N Murphy)

Male Wheatear at Aughinish Island John N Murphy
One immature/female VELVET SCOTER was off Aughinish Island, north Care along with four Common Scoter, 68 Great Northern Divers, one Black-throated Diver, two Red-throated Divers, four Long-tailed Ducks, 28 Red-breasted Mergansers, 27 Brent Geese, two Little Egrets, one first-winter Mediterrenaean Gull, 36 Dunlin and two Wheatears. A Hawfinch and two Bramblings were seen at Curraghchase today (Aidan Kelly). See photos on irishbirding.com .
Two Buzzards were seen near Lough Gur and a third bird was seen near Drombanna. A Great Northern Diver, 268 Wigeon, 172 Teal, 14 Shoveler, 145 Tufted Duck, five pairs of Great Crested Grebes, a Little Egret and two Ravens were also at Lough Gur (Tom Tarpey & Tony Mee).
The Eastern Jackdaw continues to be seen regularly in Newcastle West (Geoff Hunt).
28 Redshank and three Greenshank came in to the Coonagh Nature Reserve to roost. Also present there were 38 Tufted Duck, eight Gadwall and nine Pochard (Maura Turner)
A Barn Owl was seen at Gooig Bog (Andrew Holmes).
A Peregrine Falcon was seen at Old Mill (Geoff Hunt).
